It all begins with an idea. An inspiration. It is usually only vaguely defined and emerges as brush meets canvas. It almost always ends differently than expected.
Below are four categories of paintings that represent my different styles and mediums. I enjoy doing portraits of humans and animals, and particularly enjoy painting animals in a scale that is larger than life.
